VIENNA, Austria – December 16, 2025 – Ekometall Inc., through its wholly owned subsidiary, Ekometall Exploration GmbH, is pleased to announce the following developments related to the company’s projects, including the completion of the company’s first drill campaign in Austria and the launch of a major data processing initiative that will strengthen Ekometall’s exploration strategy moving into 2026.
Highlights
- Drilling completed at Tessenberg; Energold Drilling demobilized from site;
- Core logging in progress for the 500 meters drilled across three holes;
- GexplOre engaged to process historical data and build deposit inventory;
- Legacy license renewals to be submitted before year-end.
Drilling Completed at Tessenberg (East Tyrol)
Ekometall has officially demobilized the Energold team from the its Tessenberg site in East Tyrol, marking the successful completion of Ekometall’s inaugural drill campaign in Austria. Ekometall’s technical team is now finalizing core logging from the 500 meters drilled over three holes. Samples will be shipped to ALS for assays. The program successfully tested both magnetic highs identified across the property and sulfide zones associated with historical mining in the region.
The focused and efficient campaign served as a strong proof of concept for drilling in Austria – validating the company’s operational capabilities and establishing a repeatable framework for future campaigns across Ekometall’s broader land package. Legacy license renewals will be submitted before year-end, ensuring continuity and maintaining forward momentum.

GexplOre Engaged for Historical Data Processing and Exploration Support
We are pleased to announce a new partnership with GexplOre, a French geological consultancy with deep European and Alpine expertise and operations across more than 35 countries.
GexplOre will support Ekometall across all aspects of exploration, including exploration management and work program design and execution. This partnership meaningfully strengthens our technical capabilities, adds extensive European geological expertise, and supports more efficient execution of exploration programs moving forward.
A key focus of this engagement is a comprehensive historical data-processing initiative – an essential step in unlocking the value of Austria’s extensive mining history.
This work includes:
- Translating and digitizing centuries of historical literature on past-producing mines and mineral occurrences
- Scraping and structuring data using metadata capture and AI-assisted processing
- Creating a standardized dataset for deposit-level analysis across our nine licensed land blocks
The resulting datasets will feed directly into the company’s collaboration with VRIFY, allowing Ekometall to combine historic datasets with modern prospectivity mapping to accelerate target generation.
The first license block (Kelchalpe-Viehhofen) is expected to be completed in February.
