Company Update: Drilling Commenced at Tessenberg + License Approvals

VIENNA, Austria – November 7, 2025 – Ekometall Inc., through its wholly owned subsidiary, Ekometall Exploration GmbH, is pleased to announce the following developments related to the company’s projects and permitting efforts.

Highlights

  • Drilling officially underway at the Tessenberg polymetallic VMS target;
  • Sixth exploration license block approved, bringing the total licensed area to 5,900+ km² ;
  • VRIFY begins nationwide prospectivity mapping.

Drilling Commenced at Tessenberg (East Tyrol)

Ekometall has begun diamond drilling at the company’s Tessenberg copper-polymetallic VMS target, with work planned to continue through early December. This program is a critical validation of the company’s ability to:

  • Permit and execute exploration drilling in Austria
  • Navigate historically underexplored terrain
  • Renew legacy license areas
  • Replicate our successful community engagement model across our broader land package

Sixth License Block Approved

The company’s Trattenbach–Mürzzuschlag land block (1,408 sq km) has now been approved, marking our sixth approval out of the nine applications submitted.

Ekometall now holds over 5,900 km² of approved exploration licenses—representing the majority of our 9,600+ km² application package.

Partnership with VRIFY Facilitates Ekometall’s Big-Data Approach to Austria

Ekometall has partnered with VRIFY to leverage their exploration intelligence platform in order to highlight prospectivity targets across Austria. VRIFY has now completed its initial data-collection phase and begun prospectivity mapping across Austria.

To better assess, validate, and predict future targets across the country, Ekometall began their engagement with VRIFY in September 2025. Through the use of VRIFY’s DORA software, the Ekometall team are looking to compile and process extensive geoscientific and geospatial data, scraped across thousands of pages of historical data, to then analyze and validate the prospectivity targets and results with their team.

DORA will allow for millions of data points to be processed and augmented across hundreds of data layers to then be used to generate targets. Targets are assigned using a clustering algorithm that groups proximal, high-probability points together into a discrete grouping. Each cluster group represents a high-probability for mineralization, and should be reviewed to assess mineralization potential.

VRIFY’s current prospectivity mapping efforts support:

  • Prioritization of regional targets
  • Development of the company’s initial “deposit inventory,” covering 1,500+ historical mines and exploratory workings
  • Preparation for future exploration and target generation programs.
